As noted earlier, I very much admire Roger Ebert – his reasoning, his spare prose, his refusal to stop thinking in the face of an illness that is likely terminal.

What’s not to like?

Especially when he catches the moment this well. You don’t care about critics? Fine. But these folks are figuring things out. Like Ebert, I want to see what happens next.
